- Being named Dade County Scholar-Athlete of the year while in high school as a result of his commitment to both athleticism and academics--a balance he encourages his coaches to replicate when it comes to excellence in extracurricular activities along with academics

 

- Creating college and career programming he's used to support hundreds of youth through the college and career process for over a decade

- Finding and being awarded the private and public funding he needed to have full tuition and fees to pay for his college education​ 

 

- Leading over 100 mentors and community leaders to provide college and career support as a result of his strong belief in the power of mentorship

- Being designated Teacher of the Year 3 times and receiving the state designation of Florida High Impact Teacher as a result of his commitment to the growth and advancement of his students
